This will be the third year that Reach has staged this event that also includes an ‘Opportunities Fair’, in the lower foyer of the theatre. This is a chance for other groups working with young people who have learning difficulties in areas of leisure, social and career opportunities, to come and host trade stands that supply the young performers, their parents and carers, with information to help them make choices for their future lives. These sessions will be led by arts workers Isabel Evans, Katherine Lucas and Sue Welsh.

Partners Theatre Company - It's all about ME!

ACE tour ‘It’s All about Me’, begins its production week followed by 2 weeks touring around Swindon.  Partners will have spent their weekly sessions working with Kerry Boorman and Katherine Lucas devising a show that will explore issues around social networking and other sources of digital communications.  The show will use the format of ‘Forum Theatre’ to take these issues into school using drama to help students address their experiences of social networking whilst raising awareness of potential problems.  This form of theatre will enable young people to act out scenarios and face up to any concerns. Production week is 14th – 18th May, touring starts on the 21st May and is fully booked with a rest day for the company on the 25th & 30th May.
